The Talking Trinity series has the following components:

student's books: individual grades (Grade 1 to Grade 6)

teacher's books: individual grades (Grade 1 to grade 6)

a CD to accompany each student's and teacher's book

The vocabulary sections of the students' books have been translated into Chinese to help students prepare thoroughly for the exams.

There are eight lessons in each book. Each lesson has:

• a subject area of conversation from the syllabus
• the structures and vocabulary needed to talk about this subject
• speaking tasks to develop accuracy
• listening tasks to help with understanding of the exam questions
• pronunciation practice

The teacher's books provide detailed guidance on how to do the activities and suggestions on other ways to practise the language. The corresponding page from the student's book is included for easy reference.
